On behalf of our multinational partner from the manufacturing sector we are searching for Candidates for the following position:
Quality Engineer
Location: Vas county
In this role you will:

Works with local Hungary and global supplier quality and purchasing organizations to support the sourcing process, conducting potential supplier assessments and participating in technical review meetings as required.

Functions as a liaison between Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and the suppliers to resolve supplier quality issues and to provide technical support.

Communicates supplier part quality issues.

Supports the investigation of supplier quality problems and coordinates implementation of effective and timely resolutions.

Develops and manages working relationships with both internal functions and supplier to manage resolution of supplier issues.

Provides, as needed, support for formal 8D root cause analysis, and corrective action documentation. (Note: 8D is a standard automotive industry problem solving methodology)

Ensures required supplier quality documentation is organized and retained according to corporate guidelines.

Reviews and audit supplier manufacturing processes and quality. Summarizes, reports, and presents audit results.

Assists in the implementation and monitoring of advanced quality planning with selected future product suppliers, as required.

Validates supplier design of product and processes utilizing the automotive standard, AIAG PPAP process (Automotive Industry Action Group Production Part Approval Process).

Monitors supplier performance and reports results to management.

Improves quality performance of supplier by conducting workshops at supplier locations, providing technical assistance in developing a quality system, or other technical support required.

Posts, calculates, and analyzes routine statistical data.

Manages ongoing relationships and resolves conflicts as needed.

Adheres to corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Assures accurate and timely records are maintained within the various modules of the Allison Quality Issue Management (QIM) system such as 8D, PPAP CTC (Cost to Complete), Deviation , SAP ERP,

Maintains a physical presence in the workplace.
What you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

Good English writing and reading capability

Experience in heavy duty or automotive industry

Working knowledge of AIAG standards - APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA

Working knowledge of the automotive industry 8D problem solving tool
