Job Summary:
• Manage a small team
• Strategic planning and execution for sales and marketing initiatives to effectively increase sales
and profits while maintaining or reducing expenses
• Brainstorm and collaborate with new ideas for sales and marketing direction independently and
with team to maximize profits
• Manage digital sales and marketing strategy implementation with other team members as
required
• Support Founder and team managers on various planning, processes, and projects as needed
• Control access to company material and accounts
• Some ability for basic design using Canva and copywriting is an asset
• Supports company operations by maintaining process systems and tracking staff project
progress
• Provide and take charge of retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records
• Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing
information; identifying trends.
• Reminding and following up with team, vendors, suppliers, and Founder at all project stages as
required
• Liaise with accounting in preparing preliminary bookkeeping, related correspondence,
reviewing and approving vendor invoices, and assigning and coordinating vendor tasks when
required.
• Track expenses to stay on budget, preparing comparison reports as required
• Achieves financial objectives by assisting in preparation of an annual budget, scheduling
expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions
• Monitor and negotiate with payment processor(s) as required
• Review applications and facilitate recruitment processes
• Manage pre-employment onboarding processes for new hires
• Onboarding and offboarding of team members
• Moderate all socials and comments social media
Requirements:
• Sales and Profit driven, able to make strategic decisions to increase sales and profit
• Proficiency and experience in strategy, sales and marketing, online presence/digital sales and
marketing, business management/strategies and operations management
• Be the point of contact/take the lead with the team for strategy, sales and marketing, business
operations, processes, legal contracts
• At least 5 – 10 years of relevant working experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Able to step into a primary leadership role when required and defer to founder when not
required
• Highly organized with excellent written and spoken communication skills in American or British
English
