Management Accountant (for Hungary, and Czech)

Our multinational partner company is looking for a Management Accountant for their central accounting team.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 5 years of accounting experience, and fluent English, and Hungarian knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a Management Accountant:

  • Perform general accounting
  • Perform fixed asset management
  • Manage taxes, liaise with third party to submit taxes.
  • Provide appropriate transactional coding
  • Provide AP invoice coding to SSC and ensure that AP transactions are properly posted
  • Perform AP and AR sub ledger adjustments
  • MEC activity to review reconciliations and exceptions
  • Prepare analytics for MEC
  • Prepare/Review Tax calculation and sent to SSC for posting
  • Support local statutory audit
  • Reconcile TB with Local ledger
  • Prepare and post non rule based journals
  • Review journals
  • Review P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Prepare BS reconciliations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in GL/RTR/Management Accountant role
  • Fluent Hungarian and English is a must
  • Proficiency in business management and accounting software.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
