Our American multinational partner company, which is supporting their clients in different areas, is looking for Junior GL Accountant colleague for their team.
The ideal candidate should have minimum 0,5 years of experience, VAT accounting knowledge, and English knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a Junior GL Accountant:
- Monthly closing of the general ledger while performing all the tasks included in the applicable month-end closing checklist taking responsibility for all actions assigned to the individual ie. updating and signing the checklist
- Supporting timely data submission to the consolidation team
- Preparing basic monthly/ quarterly/ yearly reports to Internal Teams (e.g. Tax team) or external governmental/ statistical offices – in case required includes analysis
- Actively supporting internal and external (statutory or group) audits
- Actively support annual financial statement preparation, tax calculations and declarations
- Executing internal control procedures; ensuring all relevant IA and BC guidelines are followed
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and actively participating in process improvement related projects
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant Certification or University/ College degree in Finance or Accounting
- 0,5-1 year of relevant professional experience in GL
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (+ any other European language is preferable)
- ERP knowledge (Oracle, SAP etc.)
