Our German multinational partner company is looking for a P2P Process and System Expert colleague for their growing SSC. 

The ideal candidate should have about 5 years of P2P experience, and fluent English and German knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a P2P Process and System Expert:

• You will work directly with the European P2P Process Owner on Purchase-to-Pay projects in the BU EA domain, analyzing, defining requirements, and deploying technical solutions based on the new process standards.
• As part of your role, you will be responsible for participating in or leading meetings with the business and technical teams. These meetings will aim to identify and collect requirements using a structured framework.
• Maintains active communication with business users and stakeholders to manage expectations regarding changes to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionalities.
• You will support IT design, configuration, prototyping, and unit testing documentation or help define the requirements for managing change.
• A crucial part of your job is creating functional specifications that align with the business's needs. It's also essential to work closely with IT colleagues to ensure the technical solution meets these requirements accurately.
• You possess a proactive attitude and a willingness to assist others. Additionally, you demonstrate an inquisitive nature and an eagerness to learn about new technology and business processes.
• You can apply your in-depth knowledge of the SAP ERP ecosystem, which includes the various fields, tables, and transaction types.
• You will troubleshoot and provide technical resolutions throughout the Procure-to-Pay space.
• You play a vital role in developing integrated, scalable, and process-oriented solutions that adhere to industry best practices, regional or global.
• Keep up to date on industry trends and innovations, changes in P2P rules, and future tools development for their respective process areas or functional area.

Requirements:

• 5 years P2P experience in a Shared Service Center
• Function as a critical member of project teams and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the P2P value streams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial concepts (accounting, finance, and economics) and the ability to apply them to practical situations
• Basic project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and exhibit effective time management with minimal supervision
• Advanced Excel skills, with working knowledge of PowerPoint
• Solid knowledge and experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Navision) and invoice workflows is a must (e.g., KOFAX, Seeburger)
• Strong communication skills in English, and German
