Inside Sales Representative position available at an industry giant:
Our partner is a leading provider of tailored logistics and transportation solutions in Europe. With over 24 locations across 15 countries, they offer integrated solutions across Europe in the following fields: reliable freight management, seamless intermodal solutions, and specialized contract logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain close relationships with customers to explore all business opportunities
- Market research; identifying business partners; conducting cold calls
- Proactively seek additional loads with the operational team
- Assist European-level outside sales representatives, prepare negotiations, gather information
- Understand and exceed customer requirements and expectations
- Resolve customer issues as needed
- Work closely with key operations within the business
- Submit detailed sales reports and identify business opportunities
- Review bookings and address any decreases in load counts
- Keep the CRM updated with client information and business opportunities
- Participate in key projects as required
- Understand and adhere to the company’s customer service policy
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of relevant experience: sales of logistics services / relevant experience in logistics operations (preferably road transportation; intermodal)
- Sales, hunter attitude
- Proficient in English (any additional second spoken language is a huge plus)
- Higher education is not required
