The Content Manager (CM) maintains their section of the RFP (Request for Proposal) database content to ensure it is comprehensive, correct, compliant, compelling, and up-to-date. To achieve this, the CM will interface with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and various members of the sales teams to gather, revise, and upload the most up-to-date and compelling information from across the organization of our multinational client.

Your tasks will be:
- Manages the end-to-end workflow of local content management:
- Builds, creates and/or uploads local content in the database.
- Reviews coordinator submissions from completed proposals to approve pieces that can be uploaded to the database.
- Reviews local content available in the database to ensure everything is updated.
- Applies effective tagging of database entries
- Facilitates meetings with the coordinators to review status and gather updates to and feedback on RFP content.
- Rewrites ad hoc content as necessary.
- Manages all the local administrative tasks related to the database:
- Manage accounts for existing Qvidian (the current proposal automation system) users within the local sales team and SME team.
- Be the primary resource person in training local personnel on how to take full advantage of the capabilities of Qvidian
- Do basic troubleshooting for Qvidian end user issues and escalate the user’s technical issues to the Qvidian Tech Support team for timely resolution, if necessary.
- Provide timely notification to the users of Qvidian system on updates and upgrades, planned maintenance and downtime
- Drive Quality and Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Work with management to develop the proposal desk's quality control process to ensure that the Bid Managers are meeting the requirements
- Manages all content for the local RFP-related training materials
- Manages the local RFP response template
- Provides support for In Country Reviews (ICR): The goal of ICR – the review of translated marketing documents is to focus on fixing translation problems and major/critical errors by using a web-based tool for reviewing the translations.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree or higher; preferably in Business, Communication or Journalism
- At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience, relevant experience in copyediting, graphic design/layout/art direction and technical/business writing
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) in the language of the supported country
- Solid English communication skills (written and oral)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Internet savvy/effective research skills
- Excellent time management, project management, communication, coordination and editing skills
- The Local Content Manager will need to quickly develop a thorough knowledge of the company’s offerings and capabilities and be able to guide Subject-Matter Experts in both strategic and tactical conversations, to continually improve the breadth and quality of the Proposal Desk database.
- Additional support projects are part of this role. Therefore the ability to multi-task is essential in achieving success in this role
