Our partner is a leading logistics and transportation company specializing in providing comprehensive shipping solutions. With a strong commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, they offer a wide range of services including road, sea, and air freight forwarding. They are currently looking for a new Freight Forwarder colleague to join their team of 2 specialising in road transportation. In this position you could be responsible for complex, end-to-end processes, participating also in invoicing and being in contact with the partners and the carriers.

Your responsibilities would be:
• Plan and coordinate road freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to arrange transportation and resolve any issues.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and service providers.
• Manage and optimize transportation routes to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues that arise during the transportation process.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of all freight activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years experience in road freight forwarding
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
