After Sales Team Leader (13th District, 2 home office days per week)

We are seeking an After Sales Team Leader for our client, a German-owned market leader in the electronics solutions sector (classic corporate environment, not SSC).

The role involves leading a team of 9 members responsible for after-sales processes, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and industry certifications (e.g., ISO standards).

Our client operates a Europe-wide service network from their Hungarian headquarters, providing seamless service to their customers. The team leader will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of these services.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who actively participates in processes, substitutes for team members when necessary, and contributes to process improvements.

Location: 13th district; home office – 2 days per week after the probation period

Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Professional supervision of the team (9 FTE), acting as the first point of escalation – customer communication, preparing quotes based on existing contracts, coordinating orders/service team dispatches, on-site administration, and handling logistical issues
  • Collaboration with the German central office, adopting best practices – travel to the central office is expected during the initial period
  • Close cooperation with the local technical team, experts, and service colleagues
  • Process development to enhance customer satisfaction, quality, and efficiency
  • Development of KPIs to optimize costs and reduce service delivery times
  • Support and ensure the progress of internal projects
  • Support for achieving performance metrics, meeting deadlines, and enforcing them

Requirements:

  • Higher education degree (in business administration, logistics, project management, or engineering)
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience, managing a team with similar functions (after sales, service administration)
  • Advanced English and native Hungarian language skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is a significant advantage
  • LEAN knowledge, project managment mindset
  • Outstanding customer and quality focus
  • Flexibility, excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to achieve the best results
  • Excellent teamwork and result-oriented skills
  • Willingness to travel abroad occasionally
