Your tasks will be as an Accounting Expert:
- BS review and P&L variance analysis
- Maintenance of close checklist
- Maintenance of error log
- Aged item management: identify, escalate, follow ups
- Performing regular or ad-hoc accounting tasks, such as booking accruals, Tax related journals, clearing GL accounts (matching payments vs accruals)
- Supporting the Finance Accounting Manager (statutory/tax) in audits and in questions or issues arising from daily business concerning accounting
- Performing SOX controls
- Supporting internal controls and country internal audits
- Ensures that the right process is followed and that processes are compliant with the company’s global policies and processes.
- Interface for stakeholders with regards to IFRS legal entity BS and P&L
- Providing support and coordination of global process implementation and tool deployments in accounting/finance area
- Complies with the company Global F&C accounting principles, procedures (including SOX and Internal Controls) and IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles for the defined responsibility area
Requirements:
- Written and spoken English is a requirement, other language skills are advantage
- Experience and good understanding of statutory and accounting processes (full scale accounting)
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Finance or economics degree
- Good team player, precise, reliable, able to meet deadlines, proactive, problem-solving, can-do attitude
