German Speaking Payroll Specialist

Our multinational partner company is looking for a talented Payroll Specialist who could participate in end-to-end payroll support for the German region and contribute to the work of a team of 2. In this role you could participate in complex processes and use your German and English skills on a daily basis. In case you have an active, intermediate knowledge in German and would like to further boost your career in the field of payroll, this opportunity is for you!

What you will be doing:
•    Collect and consolidate payroll data
•    Submit payroll data to external providers
•    Review and adjust payroll calculations
•    Generate payroll reports
•    Arrange payments to employees
•    Handle payroll-related taxes and contributions
•    Ensure compliance with audit standards
•    Stay updated on local payroll laws
•    Communicate legislative changes to business partners
•    Build relationships with HR, Finance, and other departments
•    Answer employee payroll questions
•    Perform additional tasks as needed

Requirements that make you the best candidate:
•    Active, at least intermediate or upper-intermediate German knowledge + English fluency
•    College degree is preferred
•    Minimum 3 years experience in end-to-end payroll, preferably in a multinational environment
•    Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
•    Knowledge of People Soft or other ERP systems is a plus
•    Good communication skills, attention to details
