Our multinational partner company is looking for an Accounting Team Lead for their team.

The Accounting Team Lead will manage the accounting team in analysing financial information and implementing effective strategies to enhance overall business performance.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, and minimum 1 year in a people management role.

Your tasks will be as an Accounting Team Lead:

• Overall team management
• Make sure MEC and regular deadlines are met for entities in responsibility scope
• Introduction of controls and review of them for each entity in scope
• Taking part of implementing new reconciliations and review them on regular basis
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Support and lead ongoing R2R projects
• Full support of the team in technical difficulties
• Setup of proper process descriptions and continuous training for the team
• Onboarding of new team members, decision involvement in the selection process
• Contribution as a lead in annual audits
• Reviewing and approving journal entries
• Helping the CAT manager in decision making
• Continuous monitoring of the team and evaluation of the team members
• Sharing best practices
• Backup team members in case of urgencies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a related business.
• Fluent in Hungarian and English, additional foreign language is a plus
• Minimum 1 year of people management experience
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
• Superb organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good professional and technical knowledge is required, Oracle experience is an advantage
